Raees al Muhaqiqeen - Janasheen Muhaddith al-A'zam al-Hind
"man 'arafa nafsahu faqad 'arafa rabbahu"
Throughout the different periods of Islamic History, Muslims have been blessed with great personalities and leaders, who have revived Islam through the nobility of their character, through writing books, through their speeches and by their demeanour. This period is no different save for the fact that these personalities appear to be few and far between. In Rais al-Muhaqiqeen, Shaykh al-Islam w'al Muslimeen; Hadrat Allama Mufti Pir Sayyad Shah Muhammad Madani miya al-Ashrafi al-Jilani [May Allah preserve & protect him] we have an awesome personality, an outstanding orator, and a true living saint. To increase our understanding of Shaykh al Islam, a brief summary of his early life, his works and achievements have been set out in a few of the pages of this website. The website is still undergoing construction, and will have many more new articles, videos and features in the coming weeks and months.
Brother Faizan reflects after returning from the airport. VIDEO
Alhamdulillah 'Hadrat' (Shaykh al Islam) looked really well at the airport ... but with them travelling back to India it is not all going to be 'at home and relaxing' rather Hadrat have an extremely busy schedule ahead of them with every single minute of their precious life most valued.
With the impending Urs Mubaraka coming up in Kichchowcha Muqaddasa Hadrat have a big programme to chair in Ahmedabad first where Ulema and Mashaykh come to pay respects to Hadrat Makhdum al Millat Huzur Muhaddith al 'Azam alayhi rahmah and then rushing off to Kichchowcha Shareef (which can be like a two day journey on the train) to commence preparation for the Annual Grand Urs Shareef. This is all while they still silently suffer the pain and discomfort in their mouth and remain on the liquid diet. Though it's contrary to their nature to complain or bemoan any situation Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala imposes upon them, i'm sure they will in between be seeking further dental advice while in Ahmedabad hence their early departure from UK to give them the extra week before the long trek to Kichchowcha Shareef. Considering Hadrat's age and the travel they endure for the sake of Deen and for the strength of the Ahl as-Sunnah wal Jama'ah this is quite astonishing.
Whilst we were waiting with our Shaykh at the airport I was contemplating the little aches and pains on my body after the 200 mile plus motorway trek but then gazed towards Hadrat who in their 70's had to yet embark on a journey of almost 4500 miles. And this is just routine for them considering their annual diary for the last 40 or so years.
On top of all this Hadrat have to see to the needs, requirements, ailments, anxieties and invitations of their many hundreds of thousands of mureeds, devotees and disciples, from one end of India to another, not to mention Africa, America and Europe. Allahu Akbar! As if Hadrat don't have enough of their own problems within their own families but the fact remains this is not an ordinary person this is ''Shaykh al Islam'' who on top of all this busy schedule are writing the tafseer of the 'Kalaam e Paak.'
May Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala extend Hadrat's life for our and our childrens sake and may their shadow remain a means of protection, guidance and comfort for us in this world and the hereafter.
