Allah, Most Glorified and Majestic, says :

'' Those who are believers among you and the learned, Allah will increase their rank '' [al-Qur'an al-Mujadila :1]

And, He says :

'' Are those who are learned equal to those who are ignorant ? ''
[al-Qur'an az-Zumar :9]


And:


'' Certainly those of His servants who are possessed of knowledge fear Him''
[al-Qur'an al-Fatir :28]

And Allah, Most Glorified and Majestic, praises the possessors of wisdom :

''Then We have given the Book as an inheritance to those whom We have chosen from among Our servants: so some of them are those who wrong themselves and some of them are those who take the middle course and some of them are those who are foremost in deeds of goodness by Allah's will. That is the greatest grace.'' [ al-Qur'an al-Fatir : 32]

''Say this is my way. I call to Allah with the certainty of Insight - I and those who follow me ...'' [al-Qur'an al-Yusuf : 108]

'' ... whom We had taught knowledge from Our Divine Presence. ''
[al-Qur'an al-Kahf : 65]
