quddisa sirrah’ul-aziz
By Hadrat Shaykh’al-Islam w’al-Muslimin
Removed from darkness, to enlightenment we have arrived,
Welcome! To Ashrafi court we have arrived,
Anticipating, a single glance of generosity & kindness,
Thy disciples, at thy dominion have arrived,
Then why will not, our approach worthy be,
At thy assembly, strangers too have arrived,
Whose Mercy has exclaimed, with huge affection today,
Devout are devout, even the sinful have arrived,
Wound after wound, suffered which has our heart,
To declare, at thy dominion have arrived,
Anxiety & sorrow, affliction & grief, distress & calamity,
O Messiah! To thy ailing, have arrived,
Of our garden only, to trace the flowers,
What is faithlessness, to the faithful have arrived,
Healed who makes, the ulcers of thoughts,
Shame upon shame, to that struggle have arrived,
Locks of love, this intricacy will how pleasantly unravel,
Hands, to the beautician’s sword have arrived,
In the shade of Divine power, the hands which are Huzur,
Today to war’s weaponry, they have arrived,
Who You have awarded, Thy honour of vicegerancy,
To disgrace him, to the religious have arrived,
Devoured…ah…seduction of the exquisite rose,
If only they knew, to the thorn we have arrived,
Those who inherited, the honour of guiding,
Ah…to the wall of malice, they have arrived.
