Shaykh Madani miya has been the Janasheen (spiritual successor) for over 50 years of Muhaddith al-A'zam al-Hind, 'alayhi ar-Rahman w'al-Ridwan and the founder of the Muhaddith al-A'zam Worldwide Mission. He is without doubt the most eminent sufi scholar and one of the leading authorities of Islam today. Not only is he considered a matchless speaker, a great thinker (mufakkir) of our times, moreso is considered one of the true signs of Allah, subhanahu wa ta'ala.

The shaykh finished writing the commentary of the complete Qur'an (Tafsir al-Ashrafi) in urdu at the end of last year. Several important events were held in remembrance of this milestone of a achievement.

 50th Anniversary of Janashin for Hadrat Shaykh al Islam w'al Muslimeen.

Exactly 50 years have passed, since His Eminence Makhdoom al-Millat, Huzur Muhaddith al-A'azam, Sayyad Muhammad al-Kicchochawi, May Allah be pleased with him, passed away, and as such the 50th anniversary of his appointed janashin and noble son, Ra'is al-Muhaqiqeen, Shaykh al Islam w'al Muslimin, Mufassir al-Qur'an, Allama Shaykh Sayyad Muhammad Madani al-Ashrafi has come to fruition.

This special anniversary will be remembered with a unique and grand Conference to be held in the village of Wagra, [Vagra, District of Bharuch], Gujerat State in India, on the 5th & 6th of March 2011.
